Sanikudu is a Telugu film which is to be released on November 30, 2006 . Gunasekhar will be directing this film. The film stars Mahesh Babu and Trisha in pivotal roles. The movie will also see Kamna Jethmalani in an item number as well as a cameo appearance . The film also has Irfan Khan as the main antagonist and Prakash Raj in a supporting role. Harris Jayaraj scores the music for the film. Balasubramaniam handles the camera work while Sreekar Prasad handles the editing. The music of the film was released on October 21, 2006.

According to recent press note, Mahesh Babu has been rumoured to be essaying the role of a medical student while Trisha Krishnan has been said to be playing a movie buff.
